10 Weeks. 2 days!

What a week its been. I've been telling everyone that Tuesday was the 3rd worst day of my life after the day of my accident and the day after my accident. I barely moved off the couch. Pigpen carried me from the bed to the couch around 10am and I stayed there practically all day except when I got up to puke twice and pee. I couldn't eat anything and I couldn't keep whatever I did eat down. It was the worst day so far. I was hoping that I'd improve during the day but I never did and I didn't even make it to bell rehearsal that night. I tried to eat something before I needed to leave for bells but the only thing I thought I could handle was a McDonalds hamburger since absolutely nothing else sounded appetizing. We tried that but I only got three little bites and I couldn't eat anymore. I got into a slightly better mood as the evening went on but I never really felt better until the next day.

Luckily, the whole week has been an improvement though. I've been eating more and haven't thrown up since Tuesday. Its been a busy week too--I took Poppa to Arden Courts, saw Val and baby NCS in Springfield on Thursday (and got very frightened by the amount of crap at Buy Buy Baby). Sat was K-dog's apartment warming and West Side Story (for free!) at the National Theatre and last night was dinner at my second parents house to see C, J and baby VJ-ML. She is VERY cute. Pigpen got very protective while we were there--started thinking about our kid in those types of situations and how Mama D was talking about the new laws for baby cribs, etc. Pigpen wants us to be good about controlling the things we can in terms of safety which was really cute. He was pretty quiet the whole night but he had a lot to say on the way home and it was nice to know he's thinking about everything.

So we hope this week goes as well as the end of last week did! Today is the first day I haven't automatically taken a nausea pill with breakfast. We'll see if I can actually get through the day without one. :) I have a DR appt Wed AM. Hopefully things look good!

And here's me miserable on the couch on Tuesday. I did a lot of sleeping that day. Luckily, the weather was bad so Pigpen didn't work and he took good care of me!
