Another week has ticked by and now its Memorial Day weekend. I had an appointment on Tuesday that went fine. Blood pressure was good, another hint of protein in my urine but I swear that's because I'm going in first thing in the morning and haven't had much to drink. The results from my glucose test were in and they were fine. I'm on the low end of normal for anemia but apparently that is common. I get my rhogam shot at the next appointment which is in about a week and a half. I start going every 2 weeks now. Crazy!
Pigpen and I ordered a crib today at Baby 2 Teen in Manassas. It may take about 6 weeks to come in but we really liked it more than the others so hopefully it will be worth the wait and Cadence doesn't come early!
Baby was VERY active tonight right after dinner. We tried to take a video, not sure how well it came out. Hopefully she'll let me sleep tonight!
We bought a new washer today since one of the books said you should definitely have a good working washer for when the baby comes. Ours was having agitator issues and it just seemed more cost effective to get a new one with the Sears retiree discount. I can only bet that the dryer will conk our soon too. :)
Baby shower invites went out this week. The shower is scheduled for Sat. June 13. We've registered for a few things, but tried not to go overboard. Everything on the lists are things we need, not just want so hopefully we'll get some stuff. Hard to believe you need so much crap for a baby! I registered for a super cute baby book that I'd like to get since I love reading mine. I just hope I'm good at putting info in it!
Below is the picture for the 28 weeks although I think we took it 3 days ago or something like that. K-dog and I went shopping for a few more maternity clothes at Old Navy but they didn't have my size jeans in the full panel, which I really need. Guess I'll have to order some online.
The picture won't move so it will have to stay at the top...
