3 weeks old!

Well, she must be having a growth spurt b/c she's eating constantly in the afternoons! The past two days have been hell from about 3pm until either 10pm or midnight. Overnight last night she was a dream but the evening was really hard. We finally, two nights ago, resorted to a bottle of breastmilk b/c she was eating so often, I don't think she was getting enough from me. The bottle seemed to calm her down and put her to sleep so we did the same thing last night and it worked again. I think last night, she was just so pooped from nursing so often during the afternoon and evening that she conked out. I got her up at 1:30am, 4:30am and about 7am and she ate great, and even let me sleep a little more after her 7am feeding. Hopefully today she will slow down with the eating since its hard for me to keep up! Also, she didn't want to be put down which was hard for me since I wasn't able to get anything done. She seems to like the BabyBjorn and falls asleep in that pretty quickly luckily.

We ventured out to Buy Buy Baby yesterday for a My Brest Friend since I think the Boppy wasn't doing what I wanted and to get a smaller nipple shield for breastfeeding. She did great again while running errands--slept the whole time while I shopped, had lunch at McDonalds and went to the grocery store! I try not to let my errands take more than 3 hours b/c even though she doesn't fuss to eat, I wonder if it messes up her schedule. I do take everything to feed her if needed but I doubt she'd wake up even if I wanted her to. The motion of the car seems to make her pretty happy!

(I keep wanting to mention that I kept my belly button ring in the whole pregnancy!)

Cadence is still super cute, even smiles once in awhile but who knows if it is in response to anything. She doesn't fuss about her diaper, mostly just eating. She makes a lot of groans, even when she has her eyes closed but I don't think she's in much of a deep sleep then. Her wakeup routine is hysterical--lots of stretching and groaning. Her hair is the talk of the town since its so spikey. Its the best. :)

On Saturday, little Miss Olivia turns 2! We're headed down there for the b'day party. Grandpa and Grandma Karen came into town at the end of the week on their way to Chincoteague and will be stopping by on the way back to see her again.

The Maids are coming again today, YAY! I think the schedule I have them coming on is perfect and a great idea. :)

Off to change laundry! At least I'm keeping up with that...
