She has one tooth coming in on her bottom left which gave her a little bit of an issue when it broke through but now it doesn't seem to bother her. We don't see any other teeth yet but that one is sticking out more and more each day!
Her favorite toys right now are her crinkly books, her rainbow mexican rattle from GramPam, her white cow thing with a mirror face where she can see herself (from GramPam for xmas), her duckuin, her yellow squeaky baseball bat and the new suction cup spinny thing we put on her bumbo tray. She gets a little frustrated that she can't get it into her mouth but she likes to make it spin. She also likes chewing on her two freezable teething things--the purple star and pink Elmo one. She doesn't seem to mind holding the cold toy.
Daddy got a Wii with his xmas money and we like to watch him play. We bought it while Cadence stayed with Oma and Pop Pop for the first time at their house for a few hours! We had dinner all by ourselves for the first time ever. Apparently Cadence did pretty well for Oma and enjoyed watching Pop Pop play his bass.
The papparazzi keeps taking her picture all the time but she handles it well. She is starting to recognize the bottle and if you put it in front of her, she will try and grab it to put it into her mouth. If only she could master holding it herself!
I'm still pumping 3 times a day. She usually gets a milk only bottle in the morning and bottles half milk and half formula for the other feedings. We finally got her higher flow nipples which was a little later than we should have but oh well. She sometimes gets such a good suction on the small bottles that she doesn't get any milk and we have to have her release to let the air get in. Its funny. She eats around 7am, 10:30am, 2pm, 5pm and 8pm, all generalities. I'm hoping I'm getting her onto a 3 nap schedule if you count the fact that she goes back to sleep after her morning bottle as a nap. We'll see if that holds up or if it was just a one or two day fluke. :)
Here's a super cute picture Grandpa took of Cadence after xmas.
