sick little girl?

I think Cadence may have her first sickness/cold. I've been fighting something off all week that I couldn't figure out if it was a cold or allergies. But Cadence is showing signs of not feeling well so I think she got what I got. Her eyes look a little runny and her nose sounds stuffy but she seems to still be in a good mood and not too bothered by it. She is still eating ok and sleeping ok (taking a long afternoon nap today, but she was up early this morning). I want her to nap so she can fight this thing off since I can't give her any meds. She's a trooper, I think she'll be fine.

She really likes to go down for a nap at 9am these days, for only 45 min, but that usually means she wants another nap around noon, even if we go out. I'd like to get that afternoon nap more into the afternoon so I'm thinking about trying to push back her morning nap until more like 9:30 or 10am. She would then hopefully nap at 1pm or later for 2 hours (like she's been doing) and maybe not need a later afternoon nap? Since she's sick though, she should probably just nap as she wants.

I went into the bedroom this morning and for the 6th time, she was on her tummy, but neither Pigpen nor I saw it! It cracks me up that we've never witnessed it, but she keeps doing it. One of these days...
